Calvin Funk Post #32 was founded in Cottage Grove, Oregon, on August 22, 1919 and named after Sergeant Calvin Funk, who was the first soldier from Cottage Grove to be killed in action in Europe during WWI. The post has active American Legion, Legion Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, and Legion Riders components. Together, we:
American Legion and Sons of the American Legion monthly meetings are the first Saturday of every month at 1200 noon at the Legion Hall, at 826 W Main Street in Cottage Grove.
